Welcome to 2026!

Hey Friends, how’s it going?

Thank you so much for all the love and support during 2025! It’s a wonder I got through that year with any part of my emotional and mental body intact at all (and I’llbe honest that’s not saying much) but we did it! We’re here now and I want to look to the future as a means of healing the past. Today’s post is all about what to expect from me in 2026 as far as content, work, and community

I want to start with community. First of all, every day is a choice we get to make. I know you know this, but I want to keep reiterating it. We make choices every day of who we’ll associate with, how we’ll cope, how we show up, and how we support. We make the best choices we can daily, but this doesn’t excuse us from the harm our choices cause to ourselves or others. For myself, here are the choices I’m going to make:

  • Do better for my own well-being and that means not overloading myself with work and extracurriculars like I have in the past few years that see me struggling and suffering under timelines I can’t meet.

    • A new stream schedule was unveiled late last year. I’m sticking with it because it works.

    • More breaks in my schedule, as well. There will just be some days that I would normally stream where I actually won’t. Knowing about it ahead of time means I can plan better for it. And on those days, I’m not going to automatically fill them up with work, but will actually use it to rest.

  • I want to show up when I say I’m going to, while also giving myself a break when I need to, without feeling guilty about it. To that end, I have pre-planned two months as time-off from streaming and productivity

    • June has my birthday. I’m taking my birth month off. There is one stream planned for June and that’s it! I’m trying to travel more, see friends and family, and get away from the computer

    • December is of course the holiday season! After last year, I’m not sure where I really want to go with the holiday show, but I want to continue it. There will be one stream in December, and that will be that holiday show.

Okay, next, let’s talk content this year! Since I’m taking two whole months off from stream this year to have more focus on replenishing my energy, that means I have 10 months to just work on other things. So each month will have some activities associated with them!

  • Comics: This is the bread and butter of all the stuff I ever want to do on stream. When I’m live, I want folks to know that I’m working on a comics project unless otherwise stated.

    • Espermarch continues! There are still pages to post of issue 1, and we’re going into issues 2 and 3 this year!

    • One Act will resume as well. The current plan is still to work one issue fully every month, and they will be published in the fall (or thereabouts), and I’ll probably only stream one day a month anything related to the series. As a little treat.

    • The Four mains also get started this year! While development goes, there is a planned publish for them starting in September.

  • Music: If you take a look at the schedule on Twitch and the events calendar in the Discord, there are some music streams planned!

    • Biweekly music practice streams to get me comfortable with public performance. I have to get better than what I showed during the 2025 Holiday show, but I’m working on some new pieces throughout the year that you’ll get to see develop when you hop into stream!

    • There are two flute performances planned for this year! One is in June, and the other is in December.

  • Gaming: I want to keep playing games on stream, those are fun nights for me!

    • Final Fantasy XIV is obviously the big one. We’ll jump in this year when the new patches land, and if we get an expansion this year (??) we’ll absolutely tap in.

    • Final Fantasy V is the current game I need to finish. I’m in a good pace with my off-stream replay, but I have to get back to where I unfortunately lost control and could not proceed. I will play and finish this game this year

    • Final Fantasy VI is the second game after we finish V. I love this one, too, and I’m excited to see it again with current grown-up eyes on the story.

    • Magic: The Gathering is a something I want to go easy on with streams. I love the game, but I’ll probably only tap in to share new bundles and cards from the in-universe sets, and maybe have a night of playing Arena at that time with the new cards.

  • Art: When I started streaming, I was running a little series called Pencil, Ink, and Brush. I want to see if it makes sense to bring this back.

    • PIB was traditional art, and since I’m trying to get back into using paints and other things this year, I’d love to find a time to share that

    • Can I finally get some new emotes and badges made? I need to come up with a look and a theme, but that’s absolutely in the cards for this year.

The 2026 plan is still in progress and is still mutable and flexible, so the seasonal plans will have more updates and breakdowns. In fact, that first seasonal outlook for Winter will go up in a couple of weeks once I finalize some calendar dates. This is just an overall of where I want to go this year.

Until next time, thank you everyone and take care!!
