Thank you so much for joining what I hope will be the beginning of a fun community of storytellers, artists, gamers, and generally good folks who want to spend time with each other on the regular. The White Room is open to you! General Chat is for having conversation, sharing your favorite things, and really getting to know each other personally. As the community grows, I hope to expand the categories there to help keep everything cleaned up and convenient to find. The Realm of Tharivos is the real prize here (I think!) Years ago, I was a member of an online RP-storytelling forum. That forum was my first real experience with an online community, and helped to shape my storytelling abilities. I want to create a space for others to have that, too. What Tharivos is, is a place for storytellers and creators to adopt the role of a character they've created and tell a story from that character's perspective. The world is already made for you, but you get to tell how your character gets to explore and experience it. What Tharivos is not, is a place to give or receive feedback on someone else's or your writing. Everything said in Tharivos is In-Character, and two (or more) writers coming together should be a meeting of your characters and the adventures you tell with each other. The secret sauce here is hospitality and consent. Since this is a Role Play forum, please respect each other's boundaries, and the rules of the White Room. Be good to each other (even if you're writing an evil character).
